Our client is an established therapy services provider with multiple clinic locations in Northeast and Southeast Perth, specialising in mental health, chronic disease management, intellectual disabilities and the NDIS. This organisation aims to provide high quality services to children, young people, and their families to improve their overall wellbeing and quality of life by enhancing social, language, physical, emotional, behavioural development & learning.

About the role 

Due to continuous growth, our client is seeking an Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 6 months experience within the disability, aged care, community, hospital, or mental health sector. The successful candidate will be provided with an established caseload consisting of paediatric and school aged clients. In this role, you will work with children and families of all backgrounds and special needs providing functional skills assessments, group-based programs, handwriting assessments, behaviour regulation, mental health, social and sensory support.

  • Developing children with higher needs on a case-by-case basis
  • Functional skills assessments
  • Hand-writing assessments
  • Behaviour regulation, social skills and transitioning
  • Chronic disease management
  • Group based programs
  Essential criteria 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA 
  • Current National Police Clearance and WWCC
  • Clean drivers’ licence 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to provide ethical services valuing diversity
  • Compassion for others & self
  • All equipment and resources provided to you by the business
